Martial Arts Self Defense Discipline
Croton Karate Dojo was founded in 2005 by Sensei Peter Doherty with the mission of bringing a well rounded martial arts training to students of all ages. Sensei Doherty teaches from a foundation in traditional Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate and incorporates elements from other martial arts and self defense training. HIs goal is to equip each of his students with the knowledge and ability necessary to defend themselves, whether in the ring or in real world situations.
At Croton Karate we believe in teaching respect and discipline as an integrated part of martial arts training, and we seek to build self-esteem, character, and strength in each student.

What makes us different?
We do not charge test fees!
Hard work and solid knowledge are all that is required for a student to test for their next stripe or belt.
You can train as much as you like!
We offer FIVE days of training per week, with classes at varied times to accommodate our members. One membership will allow you to attend any and all classes at your level, with no restrictions.
